Following the Prime Minister’s announcement that we will revert to Alert Level 2.5 in Auckland and Alert Level 2 throughout the rest of the country, I wanted to update you on the implications for the health and wellbeing of our staff and customers and our ongoing operational activity.

The Plan B team will remain fully accessible through all the normal channels. From an operational standpoint, normal business activity will resume with provisions where required for physical distancing, the wearing of masks, and maximum group numbers, in accordance with government guidelines. We are however reliant on the capacity of our vendors and suppliers to continue providing services as per our service level agreements.

Half of the Plan B employees in Auckland will work from the office, while the other half continue to work from home to allow physical distancing while in the office. Sanitisers and cleaning products are available to wipe down desks and common areas. The use of masks when in close social contact is encouraged. Our sites are now available for use with a QR code displayed at each site. Contact tracing is a requirement for all staff and visitors. We request confirmation of the following in writing ahead of customer visits:

  • Whether the visitor has returned from overseas in the last 14 days, or
  • They’ve been in close contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19, or
  • They’re unwell with flu-like symptoms.

You will be requested by your Account Manager to provide this information. 

These measures will be in place for duration of the COVID-19 Alert Level 2 for Auckland and Alert Level 2.5 for the rest of the country. However, we will provide updates as the situation changes.

We appreciate that this may be a difficult time for you and your business.
